MONROE — On Feb. 5 at around 8:30 p.m., Monroe Police arrested the man who was in a police pursuit around Monroe and prompted a near-two-hour manhunt overnight in the Fryelands Friday, Jan. 24.

State Route 522 closed near Monroe Monday afternoon due to high-speed, head-on crash

MONROE -- State Route 522 is blocked well before entering Monroe. It was a high-speed head-on collision between two cars east of Fales Road and west of the Snohomish River bridge on the highway, Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue spokesman Peter Mongillo said. Three people were in the two vehicles. All three have been extracted and are advanced life support patients.
