She’s the head of Advocacy Change Thrive (ACT), a social enterprise program which helps guide people into housing, employment and recovery services. Her next move is forming a nonprofit called Rise With Resilience to act as ACT’s fundraiser arm. ACT is a social enterprise which isn’t allowed to fundraise for itself, MacDonald said.
EVERETT — In the near future, individuals found to have sprayed graffiti in Everett would face having to pay for the costs of cleanup. Mayor Cassie Franklin announced last week she has requested developing an ordinance to make this a city law. The ordinance should appear before the City Council later this month or in August.
