SNOHOMISH — A pedestrian awareness campaign for drivers to be more careful is being prepared for early next year by the city’s volunteer Public Safety Board. The city also has safety measures cominng.
EVERETT — Members of the City Council have been discussing creating a registry program for all of the city’s rental properties, part of a larger policy package that would expand the rights of local tenants. The Rental Registration Program, if enacted, will require landlords to obtain a city license for each of their owned properties. The license will need to be renewed annually, and the process of renewal instructs landlords to complete a health and safety checklist.
