In the end, Edmonds-Woodway senior Abby McCorvey scored the game-winning run in the Warriors hard fought victory 9 - 8 over Everett in early District play.  Everett had a 2 tun lead at the top of the 10th inning with the game having been tied at several points in the extra innings.  The Warriors answered with 3 runs in the bottom of the inning to take the contest and advance in the tournament.
