Snohomish softball in Districts

The Snohomish Panthers’ catcher, freshman Rhys Doyle, beats the Shorecrest Scot catcher Lauren Atherton at the plate in early innings Friday, May 9. The No. 8 Panthers had a crushing 13 - 0 win over No. 12 Shorecrest during 3A Districts at the Phil Johnson Ballfields in Everett. Drawing a bye in the first round, the Panthers dominated the Scots with strong hitting and scored in nearly every inning.  Doyle had an out-of-the-park home run.
