EVERETT — In the near future, individuals found to have sprayed graffiti in Everett would face having to pay for the costs of cleanup. Mayor Cassie Franklin announced last week she has requested developing an ordinance to make this a city law. The ordinance should appear before the City Council later this month or in August.
If you see graffiti, a city’s hotline is 425-257-URIT (8748). It accepts messages.
Franklin said last week that the ordinance should reduce the burden of graffiti cleanup costs.
