High-fives for energy

A child is greeted by the PUD’s squirrel mascots Zip and Zap at the PUD’s annual Energy Block Party at the utility’s main office in downtown Everett on Saturday, April 27. The event featured chances to check out various PUD vehicles and equipment as well as demonstrations which showed the dangers of work under power lines and avoiding down power lines. This year’s event also featured an electric vehicle car show along with displays by the Everett Fire Department and a number of law enforcement agencies.
