Having taken a 1-0 win over the Panthers in Monroe on Tuesday, the Bearcats swept the series with a 5-0 win over the Panthers in Thursday’s game. The Bearcats continued the winning streak with a 3-2 win over Gig Harbor in a non-league game in Monroe on Friday to go 3-2 on the season.
The Panthers fell to 0-8 for the season as they followed the two losses to Monroe with a 7-6 loss to the Lake Stevens Vikings in a non-conference road game on Friday.
