EVERETT — Within the city’s “Everett 2044” update of its comprehensive plan, there is a proposal for regulations to allow public-facing businesses on corners in neighborhoods.
SNOHOMISH — Several struggling families got some help to stay current on their rent thanks to a pilot rental assistance program in Snohomish. Seventeen families, comprising 44 people, received either partial or a full month of rental assistance during six months in 2024.
As more people are looking to food banks for help, officials are seeing less support from state and federal sources.
