Jackson first base senior Sam Craig stretches for the throw as a Cascade base runner dives for the bag in early inning action May 5. Cascade managed to eke out a 8-7 win over Jackson on Jackson High’s diamond. In the early innings, the Jackson pitcher filled the bags twice and walked in 2 runs, and hit a batter with a ball. The game was played on a perfect spring afternoon.
