Captain Murpagh and First Mate Landon, age 7 (lower right), engage with a gang of foam stick-bearing Judo martial arts team members during Salty Sea Days in Everett on a warm Saturday, July 13. This was the second annual summer fest in downtown Everett since its 2023 revival. ”Captain Murpagh” sails with the Emerald Sea Sirens organization.
Some more summer events coming up are the Snohomish Kla Ha Ya Days Festival July 19-21, the Lake Stevens Aquafest July 26-28 and the Evergreen State Fair Aug. 22-27 and Aug. 29-Sept. 2.
