All Aboard, an Everett center for people with disabilities, relocates

Grand opening June 19

EVERETT — All Aboard, a local nonprofit serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is excited to announce its inaugural show with Everett Art Walk titled “Express Yourself”; a group show featuring participant Nick Butler and board member, Deborah Lutz. June 19 marks the beginning of its monthly participation in the Third Thursday Everett Art Walk, where they will feature creative works by All Aboard participants and local guest artists.

Nick Butler has been attending All Aboard for more than 10 years. He loves creating art, performing, singing and he values all of the friends he’s made here. He has learned from some of the best local artists, and specializes in mono-prints and abstract works using lots of color.

Deborah Lutz is a Pacific Northwest native who enjoys working with an eclectic variety of mediums — including color pencil, charcoal, graphite, pen and ink, and cut paper collage, with her preference being watercolors, acrylics and oils. Many of her works are inspired by the amazing natural beauty of the Northwest.

All Aboard moved to its new location at 2828 Rockefeller Ave. in downtown Everett on May 1.

All Aboard  invites the community to join them for their Grand Opening Celebration during the Everett Art Walk on Thursday, June 19. The ribbon cutting is 5 p.m., followed by an Open House until 7 p.m.

All Aboard ‘s mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can build friendships, learn new things in fun ways, and enjoy a vibrant social life.
