EVERETT — Everett-based KSER 90.7 FM has named Garett Michaels as the new general manager of the independent community radio station after a national search. He starts later this month.
Michaels succeeds Tom Clendening, who retired this spring after 13 years as KSER’s general manager. Steve Ward acted as interim manager.
Michaels’ resume includes programming, management, and on-air experience in Philadelphia, Detroit, Seattle, and San Diego, the station said.
KSER is a public-interest radio station. Its studio is in north Everett.
