To the Editor:
Thank you for your clarification of the reasoning behind the “Firefighter 8” group of Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue firefighters and their appeal in court for lost wages following my letter published in the April 23, 2025 Tribune.
You have clarified for me that they “claimed religious exemption using either Christianity or a concept of holy spirit” to oppose the COVID-19 vaccine. The Christian Bible clearly states God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are three parts of one being, and do not present different views of truth. There are other spirits and what these men are listening to is not evidently the Spirit of God because it advocates un-healthy choices that lead to death. Where is the evidence that “the vaccines introduce impurities to DNA”? They are making speculative guesses that contradict scientific proof that vaccines save lives. The science comes from people using their God-created brains to find truth.
