Snohomish versus Everett soccer

Jim Scolman

Everett Seagull defender senior Stephen Post heads the ball away from his goal in First Half play of a league match against Snohomish held at Everett Lincoln Field on Thursday, March 21. After tying it up 1 - 1 for the first half, Everett scored twice more to win 3 - 1.  The Snohomish Keeper Senior, Jonathan Espinoza was under pressure in the opening 15 minutes of the first half, then the momentum swung fleetingly to Snohomish when they scored late in the 19th minute.  The swing was short lived with the action pushing back to the Snohomish end.  The match was rough and tumble resulting in the first Everett goal ramming home  on a penalty kick. The Seagulls went on to score twice more in the second half.
