Snohomish pair arrested in Freshman Campus stabbing
SNOHOMISH - Two people were arrested last week for stabbing two men who were playing Frisbee at the former Freshman Campus field in the 600 block of Glen Ave.
The stabbing happened at about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 23.
A man, 28, and a woman, 27, both of Snohomish were arrested Thursday, July 25. The man was booked into Snohomish County Jail.
The two Snohomish victims, both in their 20s, told police that a man and a woman approached them and asked about their lost dog when they all of a sudden attacked them. Both men suffered stab wounds to their upper body and were treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The victims continue to recover.
Police don’t know the motive for the assault and continue to investigate.
The victims said the pair, both white, appeared to be in their 20s. The male was described as 5’11” tall, around 150 pounds with brown hair and some facial hair. The female was described as 5’9” tall, skinny with curly brown hair.
The victims were able to later identify the suspects and police arrested the pair at their home near the campus.
