Activities happening in Snohomish this week
SNOHOMISH - Snohomish celebrates Earth Day:
For the fourth year in a row, Snohomish is celebrating Earth Day with an all-day event Sunday, April 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the corner of Avenue A and First Street at the Avenue A Gazebo in downtown. Chat with eco-friendly organizations and individuals. There will be live educational presentations, pledges for Acts of Green, and blue Earth Day flags flying.
The Snohomish Earth Day scavenger game begins the week before April 16-21 in downtown. Pick up game brochures at participating merchants in downtown Snohomish. Turn in completed game entries to the Snohomish Visitor Information Center at 1301 First St. The hunt involves walking the charming streets of downtown, spot Earth Day Friend posters in shop windows and asking for a stamp. Once game-players have collected 10 stamps, they simply turn them in to the Snohomish Visitor Information Center. A random drawing will be held from all completed entries. The winner will receive $250 in shopping certificates to use at participating businesses.
