Celeste Hestkind Fagerlie
December 19, 1947-February 10, 2014

Celeste died February 10, 2014, after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
Celeste was a long-time Snohomish resident dating back three generations. She was raised in Cathcart and graduated in 1966 from Snohomish High School. She then attended Everett Business College and Everett Community College.
Celeste married Willis Fagerlie and they had one daughter.
Celeste was very active in the community. She volunteered to do the gardening for the Snohomish Historical Gardens. She worked at the Elections Department, various democratic campaigns, and the Evergreen State Fair. Celeste enjoyed baking, canning and gardening, some of which she entered in the fair.
Celeste enjoyed traveling and one of her travels was to the Women’s March in Washington D.C. where 1.8 million women showed up. She actually got her picture on the Washington Post front page.
Celeste leaves behind her daughter, April, grandchildren Joe, Chelsea and Elizabeth; sisters Sharon, Beverly, Susan, Julie, Melody and Jennifer; brothers Leroy and James and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother Beverly, father Evern, and brother Raymond.
