Nelson CobbNelson Cobb
May 30, 1939-June 25, 2013

Nelson had a wonderful life. Nelson loved to fish, camp, and visit with family, friends and his church group. Later in life, he found a passion for running in local fun runs. He became hooked and met many new friends there. His office wall is covered in ribbons and awards from his running efforts. One thing was certain, Nelson made you earn placing ahead of him in a race. His faith in Christ sustained him and drove him to serve in the local community in so many ways. Nelson adored his bride, Sandra Cobb, and treasured standing by her side as they grew in their love for the Lord and each other.
Nelson is survived by his wife, Sandra, brothers Steve (Peggy), Jimmy (Diane), and sister Connie (Bob), his children whom he was blessed with: Christy (Wade), Renee (Bill), Judy, Tom (Tina), John, Casey (Amber), Kymm (Matt), and daughter-in-law Samantha, 22 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Steve and Mary Cobb and son Les.
A celebration of Nelson’s life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 2pm at Mountainview Christian Fellowship, 211 – 6th St., Sultan, WA 98294. Memorials in his name may be made to Adventure Soccer, The Everett Gospel Mission, or The Everett Regional Cancer Center.
