glickAnn Love Glick 55, of Snohomish, died September 10, 2011 of a massive stroke. She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, David Glick, her children, Jennifer Ann Rodriguez, husband Francisco Rodriguez, of San Antonio, Texas; John Glick, wife Lindsey Imbier & granddaughter Aziza Imbier Glick of Seattle; and Steven Glick, wife Felicia Glick, of Lake Stevens; her mother, Patricia Love of La Conner; and sisters Robin Love Tanner & family, of Reno, Nevada and Sheila Connolly & family, of Seattle.
Ann was born October 18, 1955 to Henry Love and Patricia McEniry Love of Bellevue. She attended Medina Elementary, St. Nicholas School, and graduated from Bush School and the University of Washington. Childhood summers at the family ranch in Parkdale, Oregon fostered a lifelong love of animals and the outdoors. As a young person, she raised guide dogs for the blind and helped to change Washington state law to allow guide dogs in training in public places.
Professionally, she had a distinguished career in human resources with Deloitte Touche and later with Moss Adams, where she was Manager of Compensation Services in the office of the CFO. Her work ethic and expertise were highly valued. She was a diehard Mariner fan, win or lose, and attended many games every season. She was loved by her family and friends. Her husband and children were her life. She delighted in every moment spent with granddaughter Aziza. She loved the outdoors, camping, riding and especially tending her incredible rose garden. Her quiet, loving spirit will be missed. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Guide Dogs for the Blind, 350 Los Ranchitos Rd., San Rafael CA 94903, 1-800-295-4050, www.guidedogs.com.
