Annette Wright Day, age 87, passed away quietly in Draper, UT Saturday, June 12th.
She was born in Prosser, WA on February 10, 1923 to P.A. and Marion Wright. Her sister Jane and brother Gordon preceded her in death. She attended school in Snohomish, WA, graduating high school in 1941. She attended the University of Washington, majoring in music.
Annette was a professional flutist, having played in the Seattle Symphony and Tacoma Philharmonic.
She is survived by four sons; Jeffery Bristol of Vista, CA; Shaun Bristol of Anatone, WA; Todd Bristol of St. George, UT; and Kirk Bristol of Draper, UT. She has thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was married in 1980 to W. Daniel Day who passed away in 2004. Through this happy marriage, she has shared the love of his six children, twenty-six grandchildren, sixty one great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Chapel in Salt Lake City on June 18th. Memorials are suggested to the Seattle Children’s Hospital (www.seattlechildrens.org) where she had many surgeries as a young child. The family also wishes to express their deepest appreciation to her caregivers at Onecare Home Health & Hospice who were so faithful and loving.
