Lauren Zulinke, 2, of Everett runs by a pin oak tree that was planted during Everett’s Evergreen Arboretum’s 50th anniversary Thursday, April 11. The 10-garden arboretum covers 3.5 acres on the south side of American Legion Park in the city’s north end. The event was the start of the Evergreen Arboretum Foundation’s effort to raise $250,000 to complete the arboretum’s south end.
