Drumline teams fill Glacier Peak HS

Hair flies on a cymbalist as members of the West Seattle High School Drumline lean back during their performance at the well-attended drumline competition Saturday, May 31 at Glacier Peak High School. Drumlines from Sequoia Middle School, and the high schools of Lincoln, Interlake, Cedar Park Christian, Newport, Bellevue, Monroe, Roosevelt and West Seattle competed.  Glacier Peak, as event host, performed but did not compete. Lincoln Varsity Drumline took first place overall. Roosevelt won for best cymbals, Interlake for best bass drums, Cedar Park Christian for best tenors, and Lincoln for best snares, said GP music director Tadd Morris.
