Hot air balloon pilot Mark Schilling (in balloon basket) fires up the burner to finish inflating one of two hot air balloons that visited Harvey Field in Snohomish on Thursday, Aug. 30. The world’s only tandem flying special shaped hot air balloons, “The Little Bees,” were inflated for testing by the Arizona-based balloon team as they prepared for the Sequim Balloon Festival. The balloons have flown together in Australia, Ireland, Japan and countries throughout North America.
