Dorothy Monson of Snohomish lands on the grass with instructor Jordan McElderry Saturday, July 7 at Harvey Field in Snohomish. Monson, who turned 82 in May, made her first skydiving jump two years ago. She asked her cancer doctor, Steve Kirtland, to jump with her on her second try, which they did last weekend.
