The weekly class for children ages 0 to 3 gets them and their parents involved with interactive music and dance activities. The class is held each Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:15 at no cost.

Snohomish honors 50 years since
taking State championship

1970 was a banner year for the Snohomish Panthers. Under head coach Jack de Kubber, after four consecutive Northwest AA titles, on its 1970 try the team took the State’s AAA title with a 53-51 victory over Pasco. AAA was the biggest league in high school basketball, and it was Snohomish’s first-ever state title.
The team that made the milestone was honored at halftime at last week’s game between Snohomish and Everett. In the photo standing from left to right is: Jim Wilson (current Snohomish boys head coach), Jack de Kubber (1970 head coach), Don Greiert, team co-captain Doug Love, Ben Krause, and Josh Thomas (the son of player Evan Thomas). In the front row from left to right: Tom Poier and Rodney Reed.
The team was inducted into the county’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2017.
