Snohomish student’s photo wins grand prize
Matt Brigham of Snohomish High School is the grand prize winner of the Schack Art Center's 2012 Black and White photo contest. His digital entry, "Little Dancer," beat out more than 150 entries. The contest was open to all high school students in Snohomish County. Photographs were judged in two categories: traditional analog and digital. Three local, well-known photographers served as judges: Philip McCrain, Nat Seymour and Kathleen Williams. Brigham's photo and all the other entries are on display in the Emerging Young Artist Gallery at the center through Monday, April 30. For gallery hours, visit www.schack.org.
